Proposal Title: IRAQ ARE YOU! -(the walk of hope), 03/19/2009, Installation

Proposal Synopsis: The walk of hope installation is a walk during wich the visitors should feel the initial desperation, rappresented by the back war images, that step by step become hope trough the positive images sited in front of a mirror with irq shape. This one, togheter the wall mirror siteon the back of the entry ad the walk, reflect the images of the installation together the fisicity of the visitors that are a real live part of the installation themeself. here we got just few images that needed us just to show our ideas. The images should be changed in reasons of the meaning of the walk, also just for dimension, colours, or subjects. The walk, on a plexiglass lane, find a path between iraq's desert sand and between bidimensional statues, to the last target that was rappresented by the iraq's mirror were yiu reflect yourself and where you can feel the awareness that IRAQ ARE YOU! Above three white tarpaulins, moved by different anchored by the roof get the sens of the clouds that at the begin close the space, while at the and open to a larger view.

Artist's Biography: Paolo Alpe was born in 20.01.70, in Rivoli, Italy, and was graduated in architecture at POLITECNICO DI TORINO in octobre 1996. He had opened a architectural workshop to follow the dream to make architecture and artistic buildings. Since 2005 he founded with a friend the box called "PROGETTO ARCHITETTURA" that was located in Rivoli. Carlo DANA was born in Turin, in 04.01.63 but now lives in Udine (Italy), where in 2000 founded "SEGNOPROGETTO" a society that have as target to realease virtual view, rendering, and 3D animation. Paolo and Carlo are friends since 1993.
