Proposal Synopsis: The proposal allows those who have lost loved ones to enter their memories of the deceased on a website that links these recollections to a specific time and place. When an individual is in the designated place, perhaps the location of death, at a particular time, perhaps the deceasedâ??s birthday, anniversary, or day of death, the logged memories are sent as a text message to the individualâ??s mobile telephone. The nature of this exchange permits a visceral reaction to existence and sympathetic understanding of anotherâ??s life. The personal, shared memories come to the individual like a chance encounter with the deceased and their loved ones.
