Proposal Title: PETROLEUM MONUMENT, 03/31/2008, Sculpture

Proposal Synopsis: Petroleum is composed of a very large number of different hydrocarbons that makes a unique mix of molecules. The variety of human size hydrocarbon molecules that will consist Petroleum monument will be made of black and white clothes donated by everybody who feels engaged with this project. The number of molecules will be limited only by the continuous donation of clothes that will be glued to develop this monument.

Artist's Biography: Petko Dourmana is an artist and organizer working with new media. As part of Bluetooth_Graffiti platform he has recasted many not existing anymore politically charged historical places. He is founder and director of InterSpace Media Art Center in Sofia, Bulgaria since 1998.
