Proposal Title: Concavity of Colective Memories., 03/13/2008, Other
Proposal Synopsis: The underground concave extracted from the fruitless land of the forlorn and forgotten espouses the cruel nature of war, the brutality of death and the vast enormity of nothingness.
There appears a monument that does not seek to commemorate but to explain, through its own gesture.
A monument which instead of honoring cruelty, expresses and authenticates man as the great protagonist.
One years for a concavity which guards the essence of the fallen one. Names do not exist here, a memorial is born which exposes the individualized group in which the individual is included.
A great wall refers to the fallen men, a credence to the civilian subject to the unfavorable whims of fate.
And a surface that portrays the protagonist: the man, the resistant civilian and the hopelessly absent plebian.
