Proposal Title: A Multimedia Iraqi Memorial, 12/17/2007, Mixed media
Proposal Synopsis: Since I create in various artforms, I tried to express my vision for an Iraq War Memorial using architecture, photography, video, and music. Much of how we experience and understand things is truly multiform so I felt this is the best way to bring the message across. In this memorial design, a visitor can meander on ramps and walkway through large multimedia screens that are showing various aspects of the Iraq War. These large panels can contain videos and computer screens as well as paintings and posters. Additionally, I write songs and one of my songs is about how we can prevent things like war and there are other ways to solve our problems. My songs discus the impetus for warfare and the memorial incorporates scenes from the music video to the song. This is a song that I wrote and is copyrighted from my song called "Mr. Tattoomanmix".
